Carol Welch was born in Needham, MA and moved to Scotland Neck, NC as a teenager. She has lived with her husband Kevin in the Wendell/Zebulon area for more than 20 years. Carol has three sons, Chris, Andy and Eric. Eric, one of our former technicians, was the last of her sons to leave home. Carol has a large, loving animal family: "Maggie" a 13 inch Beagle, "Missy" a cocker spaniel mix, "Elwood" a hound mix, "Gracie" a 15 inch Beagle and one cat "Yummy." All of Carol's animals are rescues. Carol got her love of animals from her mother, who never turned away a stray animal. She and Eric have both been actively involved in animal rescue, with a particular interest in Beagles. |
